About Me:

I am a fully qualified teacher with 23 years’ experience as Head of Department in schools, specialising in English Language and History at KS3, GCSE and A-Level.  I tutor primary and secondary students privately in both subjects and run specialist sessions on Study Skills both online and in schools. I am an examiner and am experienced in working with EDUQAS, EDEXCEL, IGCSE and AQA exam boards.

All the tutors who work with me are trained teachers with school and exam expertise. They are highly experienced in working with neurodivergent students..  We also work extensively with home-schooled students and those with EBSA (Emotional School Based Avoidance). Most importantly, our lessons are engaging, fun and inspiring!

My other job involves educational consultancy, training school staff and other organisations in Restorative Practice.  This puts people and relationships at the heart of everything we do and carries over into all of my teaching. Building confidence, bringing enjoyment and helping students to reach their potential is the part of education that I love the most.
